Job Description

• Applicants with up to six months of experience are welcome to apply
• Background in Bakery or a related industry is a plus
• Attaining a high school diploma is not a prerequisite for pursuing this educational program
• Weight Handling: Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds is necessary
• You must be at least 18 years old to meet the age requirement

Job Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory work based on established scratch guidelines if needed.
• Create the product in accordance with the scratch recipes, adhering to the necessary specifications for form and presentation.
• Utilize the specified time and temperature from the recipe to bake the prepared product accordingly.
• Achieve the desired size and shape of the product by correctly positioning items within the proof box, configuring controls, and sealing the door effectively.
• Carry out the established instructions for the preparation and frying of donuts in a consistent manner.
• Store products in the freezer and remove them later to ensure they stay fresh.
• Display proactive behavior by effectively utilizing suggestive sales techniques and conducting interactive product sampling where applicable.
• Prioritize the safety of our team, customers, and goods above all else in every task we undertake.
• It is essential to provide exceptional customer care by acknowledging individuals and aiding them in finding the products they seek. Bakery Team Members should possess the appropriate information to address queries and provide guidance to customers.
• Follow appropriate procedures for managing products and tools in line with food safety and safety regulations, aiming to promote a secure shopping atmosphere.
• Ensure cleanliness in the department's workspaces, backroom, coolers, and freezers to meet safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare and bake a variety of goods to fill the bakery displays, regularly switching products and following proper code dating guidelines to ensure that only the freshest items are on sale.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, emergency protocols, cleanup procedures, steritech regulations, correct lifting methods, and housekeeping standards to meet departmental requirements.
• Ensure the precise notation of unique orders for Bakery goods in order to meet customer expectations and exceed their satisfaction.
• Grasp the ingredients and their roles in making from-scratch baked goods.
• Collect the required baking supplies and scratch-made recipes to begin the baking procedure.
• Support in the organization and upkeep of the bakery's back storage, refrigerated, and frozen sections by receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Assistance will be extended for any further requirements.
