Fire Sprinkler Designer

Assisting the Design Manager, the Fire Sprinkler designer will help in the generation of fire sprinkler shop drawings compliant with NFPA rules using AutoCAD. This role mandates acquiring knowledge about the selection of fire sprinkler system components, hazard evaluation, fluid dynamics, understanding code compliance prerequisites, and adhering to industry standards for the installation of fire protection systems. The candidate will aid in inspecting current fire protection arrangements, creating drawings, listing materials, and conducting field surveys essential for the successful implementation of fire sprinkler systems. Candidates must exhibit eagerness, teamwork, and a positive, courteous approach and demeanor.

Job Qualifications:

• A wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience spanning five years in fire sprinkler system design.
• NICET Level 3 is the preferred qualification for this position.
• Showing a knack for both mechanical and mathematical concepts and harboring a firm determination to thrive.
• - Verified skill in Autocad 2018 and above with a readiness to master different software applications.
• Understanding how to effectively operate Microsoft Office is a valuable ability in today's technological age.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
• Holding a job steadily for three years.
• There might be a need for sporadic out of town travel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn how to produce fire protection design drawings and hydraulic calculations for commercial and residential buildings while staying within budgetary and scheduling constraints, observing all applicable codes to facilitate submission and fabrication.
