Fire Sprinkler Technician

The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers, and customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively prioritize their time to achieve a high completion rate of service calls while delivering exceptional service quality
• Attain the weekly productivity targets with efficiency and diligence
• Obtain the essential local or state certification in Fire Equipment Competency by familiarizing yourself with applicable fire protection regulations
• Guarantee the security and upkeep of company assets
• · Follow the company's safety protocols, which include guidelines on safe driving practices, the correct wearing of personal protective equipment, and the implementation of lockout/tag-out regulations
• Abide by company guidelines for vehicle maintenance and upkeep while also ensuring it is kept clean and organized
• Safeguard the company's wealth and valuable possessions
• Undertake supplementary tasks as directed by the Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Past participation in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression operations.
• Being familiar with the relevant inspection and servicing regulations can be useful, although it is not a strict requirement.
• Proficiency in understanding and learning standard electrical safety measures
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a continual commitment to safe driving standards
• Successfully completing the necessary background check, scrutiny of driving background, and drug testing as required by the company
• Having a solid work ethic and ensuring a professional image is upheld consistently
• A strong emphasis is placed on candidates who excel in selling, communicating effectively, and demonstrating excellent customer service skills
