Fire Suppression Technician

The Technician will be tasked with the inspection, sale, and upkeep of a range of fire suppression devices, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights, and other fire-related items in a professional and prompt manner. Meeting weekly service goals and productivity targets is a vital part of the Technician's responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining a tidy and organized vehicle, and creating a safe working environment for themselves, colleagues, and clients are important obligations for the Technician.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently organize their schedule to optimize the number of service calls attended while upholding quality service levels
• Reach and surpass the weekly productivity objectives assigned
• Understand and adhere to fire protection codes while obtaining the required Fire Equipment Certificate of Competency at the local or state level
• Preserve and care for organizational resources
• Abide by the company's safety measures, which encompass instructions on safe driving techniques, the appropriate wearing of personal protective attire, and the adherence to lockout/tag-out guidelines
• Abide by company standards for vehicle maintenance and ensure it is neat and organized
• Guard the assets of the company from potential risks and threats
• Fulfill any further responsibilities as instructed by the Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior exposure to Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression mechanisms.
• Knowledge of the relevant inspection and servicing codes may be advantageous, though it is not obligatory.
• Aptitude for learning and comprehending general electrical safety practices
• Current valid driver's license and a continuous history of responsible driving behavior
• Obtaining positive results in the background verification, scrutiny of driving background, and drug screening mandatory for the company
• Having a solid commitment to work obligations and projecting a professional image
